Crisis Management is the aspect of PR that you are probably most familiar with. A crisis can be anything that damages a company's reputation and/or causes financial loss.

Examples of a crisis:

  • Natural Disasters

  • Cybersecurity breach or hack (stolen credit card information or personal information)

  • Defected products

  • Employee Misconduct

  • A former employee or relative/spouse of a former employee speaking negatively about the business.

  • Negative reviews or actions have gone viral

  • Conflicts with Interest Groups (political, social, cultural)
