Alex is the founder and heart behind Mom, Wife, Worship Life, a Florida native, former math teacher and proud wife and mom of two.She now dedicates her life to sharing her journey as a mom, wife and entrepreneur while coping with a chronic mental illness guided by her unwavering faith. Alex's testimony is one of resilient self-love and the strength found in Jesus Christ. She's here to inspire and encourage every woman to not just survive, but thrive.

Angel: As everybody knows, organizing is one of my favorite topics! It makes me happy to talk about, and I love hearing how other people are organized or disorganized, or what their organization journey was like, because it looks different for everyone. It doesn't matter how you got there, it just matters that you got there. How do you stay organized as a wife, a mom of two, and an entrepreneur?

Alex: You mentioned that I deal with a chronic mental illness. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when I was 21 years old. Part of the bipolar disorder, there's a lot that comes with that. OCD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, is a part of the symptoms that clear up when I have, when I'm in the middle of a manic episode of bipolar disorder. I say all that to say I'm extremely organized almost to like, to a point of obsessiveness. I need the organization to make me feel like everything is the way that it should be, so that I can function as I need to.

So, I actually have an organizer who I call on, and I'm like, I'm about to start a new project.

Let's reorganize. So, it's something that I do on a regular basis, but I believe the organization is not something you just do one time. Like, I got organized, and I will stay organized forever. It's an ongoing process.

"Organization helps me have some sense of control in my environment." -Alex

Angel: Growing up, I just wasn't an organized person. I put stuff wherever I wanted to.

As I got older, I started becoming more of a stickler for, organization. If it was left up to me, I would have the Pinterest perfect pantry with everything neatly lined up and stacked up.

"I think specifically for people who organization doesn't come to them naturally, I think some people have the idea that I can get organized one time and it's done, you know, and my bedroom is organized, my closet is organized, my bathroom, my kitchen, whatever, and I don't have to do anything else. I think organizing is an ongoing process." -Alex
