Staying organized

Updated: Jun 14

I love planners; I would be lost without them! I have three planners.

There is my podcast planner; I like to keep it separate because I erase a lot and make a lot of notes in it. Then there is my planner, which doubles as my business planner. We have our family planner.

I'm a visual person. I have to see things in order for them to really connect. I am also old school and like to write stuff down with pen and paper, but I want the convenience of not always having pen and paper on hand.

I started looking for a goal-planning and habit-tracking app. After trying several different apps, I finally settled on two I liked. I wanted to keep my goals and habits separate.

The habit tracker is called Onrise, and my husband recommended it.

It's simple, and it's free. You can color code it, and it gives you options for different activities, or you can create your own. Some possibilities include reading, meditation, working out, and drinking water.

It has a journaling option and a focus option. In the focus option, you work for 25 minutes and then take five minutes to refocus.

The app that I'm using to achieve my goals is called Progress.

This one gives you a seven-day free trial; after that, it is $7.99 per year until you cancel.

This app allows you to color code and create categories.

I have a health category, business category, finance category, and faith category.

Another thing that I want to do this year is the Bible. It's so interesting, but I needed to figure out where to start.

I did some research and found a book called "The Bible in 52 Weeks, a year-long Bible study for women" by Dr.Kimberly D. Moore.

It's broken down into weeks, giving you your daily readings each week.

It also gives you a story based on the readings for the week, and sometimes, it gives you points to ponder.

That's how I stay organized with my Bible studies and time with God.

Another tool I have started using is Asana.

It's an organizational tool that someone on my podcast told me about. I use that to keep my business organized.

That's how I am staying organized this year!

I'm trying to do better with meal planning but have yet to get there.

If anyone has meal planning down to a science, please email me and help me!

Let me know if you have any tools you think are absolutely amazing that you have been using!
